What I did
I volunteer as the web person for this nonprofit, which offers free wellness programs to people going through cancer.
- Redesigned the whole Wix site. Reorganized the navigation around how clients actually look for services, rebuilt the homepage and services pages, and made typography and brand colors consistent everywhere.
- Rebuilt the services section as tap-to-expand cards, deliberately avoiding hover effects that don’t work on phones.
- Built the redesign as an unpublished draft next to the live site, shared a test link with staff for feedback, and switched over at launch with nothing broken.
- Still maintain it: program calendar, provider profiles, and event promotion, working directly with staff.
